Announcement: New Particls Build Available

We are happy to announce a new build of Particls that has a number of tweaks and bug fixes.

Download here

The highlights include:

  1. Better international support (especially a fix for the input string error many international users were getting)
  2. An about page
  3. Many little tweaks and bugfixes (learn more on the release notes)

Unfortunately our auto-updater process in the last build was a bit broken so you have to download it manually at www.particls.com/download. Future updates should come through automatically via Auto-Update (unless you turn that feature off of course).

Thanks for your great feedback guys - we are listening! Many of your suggestions will be included in future builds.

Stay tuned...

Oh, is THAT what the auto-updater was about? I thought it was an auto/manual setting for the software letting you know of new content on the internet.

Hey Chris, great news.

One Question: I use Rocket Dock and I can't find an icon for the dock for particls - any chance of posting one here? Otherwise particls wrecks the dock... Stupid request I know... But you don't know unless you ask right.

Get one of the graphics boys to wack one out while they have nothing else to do :)

Thanks for the comments and hints at one to come on the podcast blog.

@Andrew: lol - no that's not quite it ;)

@Dave: I will see what I can do for you with the Rocket Dock :)

I noticed that my Jaiku account has been autosubscribed including the public feed and some of my contacts. I don't want my Jaiku account in Particls. How to turn off or unsubscribe?
